Gran Fondo 2011 Ride Through Miami with Jan Ullrich

“Thousands of Cyclists Filled Up the Streets For Miles With Beautiful Bicycles On A Sunday Morning”

Very early on a rainy Sunday morning, a convoy of beautiful Ferraris and a long line of thousands of cyclists of all levels, from all around the world filled up the streets of Miami to go for a challenging 100-mile century ride.

Among the many cyclists that rode that day in the enormous peloton was the cycling legend, Jan Ullrich.

Jan Ullrich is one of the biggest cycling champions in the world, with Olympic and World Gold Medals and a Tour de France win on his cycling resume.

During the ride, it was nice to see how such a respected rider of this caliber gave every single rider that approached him the opportunity to take pictures with him.

Not only is Jan Ullrich a big cycling champion, but he is also a very noble man.

After the tough 100-mile ride, the 2011 Gran Fondo Miami finished with a nice catered lunch where cyclists had the opportunity to enjoy the delicious Italian pasta.
